i warned them

I was late to work Monday through Wednesday this week. When I woke the teens up, I told them I was leaving at 7:20. At 7:05 I told them I was leaving at 7:20. At 7:15 I told them I was leaving at 7:20. Then, at 7:22, I left, minus one girl who didn't make it out the door in time.

She made it to school because Holly took her (for a fee). Maybe she'll take the morning thing a bit more seriously now.

haha, that's awesome! I'm sure my wife will love that idea, because she's pretty anal about leaving on time. It's why I never give specific times for things ;-)

sounds reasonable to me. Very very reasonable. Reasonable beyond reasonable. yay!

though in our family it was the other way round. My dad always thought he got us to school "on time" if he pulled up as the bell for us to be sitting in our homeroom desks rang. It would have been hard to pull this to get him to hurry it up! LOL!
